made a new oc….. her name is sidnee (sid for short) and shes the lead singer in a punk/metal band. She maintains a cool/aloof/edgy/charming persona in public which makes women swoon for her but rly shes a huge scaredy cat/rly tender and shmoopy and an anxiety riddled dork

“Do you want to talk about it or be distracted from it” is honestly the best thing you can say to me when I say im sad/in pain etc.
this is really good advice to say to anyone who is upset
another good thing to say is “do you want to problem solve or do you want to vent” because it can be so frustrating to have someone suggest a dozen things you’ve already tried when all you want to do is rant for a little while
(not saying that problem solving is bad - that’s why it’s something to offer! just that it’s good to know whether the person you’re talking to is interested in doing it at the moment)
